Canadian Tire Brand Advisor in Calgary, Alberta
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Brand Advisor will be a key member of a dynamic marketing team and will be accountable for providing marketing expertise on their projects. This person strives to be a well-rounded marketer, capable of delivering on the end-to-end marketing process. Acting as a project manager across a number of projects per quarter – this person will provide oversight and complete execution while acting as the liaison between the different business units and stakeholders to execute the campaign. The incumbent is first and foremost creative and insightful, has a strong digital forward mindset, is process oriented, knows how to drive the creative process and can execute flawlessly. This person acts as a brand guardian to protect and build up the brand in all content that goes to market. The Brand Advisor will also have extraordinary interpersonal skills and will be adept at orchestrating a myriad of people across a changing culture and be able to adapt in a dynamic environment. They will also be the voice of the customer in cross department meetings ensuring the brand comes across at all touchpoints and with ease. This role will require a lot of strategic thinking and being able to effectively communicate it to stakeholders.
Achieve extraordinary marketing success by determining and successfully project managing fully integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand equity as well as sales both online and in-store.
Contribute proactively to the marketing planning process and are responsible for briefing, implementing, and tracking campaigns.
Work through Integrated Marketing process with the other marketing teams to brief and execute full funnel campaigns.
Use research and analytics to support decision making and to revise creative if needed to test and to track those results.
Partner with content team or agency partners to develop and execute creative campaigns.
Contribute to creating alignment and collaboration between marketing and other functional areas, especially key stakeholders in Merchandising and Store Operations.
Play a proactive key role in building the credibility and reputation of the Marketing organization as one that sets vision and drives the business through a commitment to quality, action, innovation and measurable success.
Work closely with creative lead to ensure creative direction of each season is based on new brand house, target segment and overall strategy in place.
Work closely with Production team to ensure production is aligned with artistic direction and always on brand (presence on set).
Represent the voice of the consumer and improve customer experiences at various touchpoints.
Working closely with key internal and external partners around strategic social planning to map against key target audiences and provide tailored executional output.
Travel as required.

What you bring
Bachelor of Commerce with a marketing or similar major.
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience developing and executing marketing campaign preferably in agency, consumer packaged goods or retail environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans and activities focused on achieving budget, performance targets and hitting deadlines.
Proven record of creativity & innovation in marketing field, with digital experience including website, social media, digital with mobile first thinking.
Background making customer focused decisions based on sound analysis and research of market opportunities and alternative solutions.

Highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and exercise sound knowledge and good judgment.
