CVS Health Site Reliability Engineer in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Description

We are looking to welcome a colleague who is enthusiastic about learning new and existing technologies to ensure the resiliency of critical member-facing applications. This individual will help to support our production environment by combining aspects of software engineering and operations. Some of your responsibilities will include incident management, supporting a 24/7 on call rotation, and technical troubleshooting of complex enterprise systems.This role can be based in one of our corporate offices in Woonsocket, Boston, Northbrook, Irving or Florham Park or can be fully remote anywhere in the U.S.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of software technology experience.- 1+ years experience troubleshooting issues in areas of software such as - web, mobile, back-end services, database etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willing to participate in 24/7 on call rotation- Experience managing Application availability- Experience building creative solutions to manage repetitive activities- Working knowledge of Monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk, AWS Cloudwatch- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Rally- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)- Technical support experience (Tier 2 or higher)- Experience working in a complex Enterprise system- Proven leadership qualities and the ability to guide resolution of complex issues in stressful, high pressure situations- Able to communicate effectively with audience of varied technical experience and background- Self-motivated with “growth mindset”; innovative thinker who takes initiative- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
