CVS Health API Delivery Lead in Buffalo Grove, Illinois
Job Description
Location: Hybrid in Buffalo Grove, IL OR Richardson, TXResponsible for providing multiple concurrent API solutions and drive end-to-end delivery of small/medium projects (up to 2500 hours) as Technical Lead.Implement Proof-of-Concept, review projects forcompliance to service guideline and implement newservice patterns under the guidance of Sr Advisor.Lead application support for medium/low impact events(P3/Welcome Season/general support).Specialist in multiple domains.Analyze and correct complex system issues, Shareexpertise across multiple teams.Assist in establishment and adherence to technicaldirection, standards (security & compliance), guidelinesand methodology for use in specified technologies withinown discipline. Serving as a mentor to lower leveltechnological resources on the team.Transfer knowledge to team members through counselingand consultation; assist in performance review process byproviding feedback on technical ability at end of eachproject. Participate in interviewing for team and providefeedback on candidates’ technical expertise.Serve as team member to research, recommend and driveimplementation of innovative technologiesEffective written and verbal communication skills arerequired to facilitate meetings with both senior technicaland business audiences, often across multiple functionaldepartments within the PBM and across geographicallydispersed areas.Deliver on delegated management level tasks (talentevaluation)Must have good understanding of the Agile Methodologyand tool used to delivery the project requirements. Assistthe team members in tools and processes. Remediate anyissues found in supporting the Agile process.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 90,000
Maximum: 180,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT development experience including thefollowing:- 3+ years of overall technical exposure on SOA,Middleware, Messaging, API and Application services- 2+ years of experience in Data Power and/or IBMIntegration Bus (IIB)-1+ years of experience in API Management and Canonicalmodeling
Preferred Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred)
