The incumbent will manage the grant and operational budgets and oversee research laboratory operations, including space and equipment. Supervise Post Docs and student employees, maintain outward-facing media, including the lab’s website, and support the PI’s submission of journal articles. Provides management and coordination in researching, drafting, and submitting grants to support the Office of Faculty Development within the Dean’s office. This is a 3 year fixed term position. Responsibilities Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related area Preferred Education: Master's Degree Engineering, Computer Science, Education or related field Required Experience: 5+ years experience in higher education and/or private sector, supervision, project management, teaching and/or mentoring Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: High level of independent thinking, creativity, and goal-oriented productivity. Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. Ability to identify and support implementation of best practices. Understanding of diversity, inclusion and organizational effectiveness. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
