About the Role
The Global Mobility Lead will align National Grid's US and UK mobility initiatives with company requirements and strategy. This role provides expertise and strategic advice to Executive Management and Business Partners, guiding global mobility programs. Responsibilities include managing the overall mobility portfolio, addressing complex issues, implementing solutions, focusing on workplace excellence, continuous improvement, and achieving results.
What You'll Do
Oversee US and UK mobility strategy, coordinate with stakeholders, manage supplier services, address business needs and employee concerns, and handle property transactions.
Develop and implement strategies, policies, procedures, governance, and compliance based on business requirements.
Manage vendor relationships, including network providers, internal and outsourced team members, as well as associated processes, contracts, and service level agreements.
Oversee TEM provider relationship, including monthly governance meetings
Lead project initiatives and program enhancements related to mobility within the US and UK.
Supervise routine support activities and collaborate with business partners and leaders to meet the specific mobility requirements of individual business units.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing ongoing education on current mobility devices, policies and processes to stakeholders and business units.
Independently manage complex situations, identifying root causes of systemic issues and proposing solutions.
Address issues impacting the business, identify opportunities for improvement, and act as an escalation point for unresolved matters.
Ensure high-quality BAU service in response to mobility support issues and customer concerns.
Oversee contract renewals.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and lead a team of global US and UK mobility analysts.
Perform additional duties and/or special projects as required.
What You'll Need
Mobility management experience inclusive of reporting, data analytics, vendor and project management and strategic leadership
Strong analytical skills and issue correlation
Knowledge of global mobility functions
Vendor consolidation and cost management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Quick to develop and understand new processes
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Tangoe experience as well as familiarization with international, UK telecoms a plus
Experienced in leading global mobility teams and vendors a plus
7+ years in global mobility experience
Bachelors in business or related field preferred

Annual Salary
$148,000-$174,000
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
