About Us A team of researchers in the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes is in search for a self-motivated, highly-organized person to work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator on clinical research studies, including qualitative research and clinical drug trials. The study coordinator will be responsible for management and coordination of participant recruitment, consenting, and data collection of all study activities and procedures. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Work with Principal Investigator (PI) to oversee the daily activities and needs of the clinical trials. Coordinate data collection, analysis and cleaning, performing regular audits to ensure that the data collected are complete and accurate, and that the research is being conducted as outlined in the protocol. Manage the coordination of subject visits, tests and procedures with study partners, manage and facilitate visit schedules and workflows. Maintain oversight of subject charts, databases, reimbursements. Ensure that adverse events and protocol deviations are reported to the Principal Investigator. Manage the coordination monitoring visits, provide follow-up to monitors and research team. Manage the collection of data from importable and exportable formats for rapid dissemination to PIs and sponsors. Develop appropriate baseline analyses and reports for the PI, study funding agency, and the IRB. Facilitate the preparation of conference abstracts, oral presentations, and poster presentations, and participate in the development of manuscripts for publication. Represent the study at internal and external academic meetings and community events. Act as a liaison to project partners to discuss new procedures that could be implemented. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to apply technology to resolve problems. Outstanding judgment, initiative, and attention to detail are essential. Must be able manage competing priorities while supporting more than one PI. Can be relied upon to ensure that activities within areas of specific responsibility are completed in a timely manner. Outline project goals and timelines and reviews progress at defined intervals. Ability to work well in a team setting and independently is essential. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a highly preferred skill Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed below. Minimum Salary Range Maximum Salary Range USD $58,500.00/Yr.
