POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a motivated, highly organized individual to serve as a senior clinical interviewer to assist the investigators with the asthma education school-based research study. Interview potential study participants for selection into the study Schedule participants for asthma lessons for parents and children with asthma either remotely or in person as per study protocol procedures Revise and develop asthma lesson material and other study-related materials as needed Gather available community resources Collect and enter data, maintain appropriate documentation, and prepare reports Assist with recruitment of study subjects and survey completion Communicate with schools and healthcare providers Assist with other study-related tasks or other asthma studies within the team as needed Perform other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma and at least 2 years of administrative support experience is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. * Bilingual English / Spanish proficiency (written and oral) required * Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. The Senior Clinical Interviewer will work on the team of Dr. Marina Reznik. Dr. Reznik's current asthma-focused research includes Evaluation of the Asthma Management Program to Promote Activity for Students in Schools (Asthma-PASS) (R33HL147908), evaluation of health care provider practices in prescribing spacer/holding devices for children with asthma, assessment of pharmacy availability of spacers and education provided by the pharmacists, and development and feasibility of physical activity program for children with asthma.
