The Transport Team Leader will focus on the winning and delivery of Transport Planning projects including strategic reviews, option studies, feasibility studies and business cases in the transport sector.
Assisting with client plans including recording engagement activities as required by KBR
Assisting in the early pursuit positioning and pre-tender actions to improve the company’s probability of success prior to the tender brief arriving including developing win strategies and proposal methodologies that support winning new business
Overviewing and/or managing the preparation of tender proposals to clients that maximises the probability of a successful proposal
Collaborating with KBR Managers across Queensland and Australia as required
Lead and manage transport infrastructure planning projects including concept infrastructure designs, transport modelling, reporting and recommendations
Complete the delivery of projects that meet or exceed client expectations, are within the agreed budget, and are delivered on or ahead of schedule
Undertake review and/or verification of work undertaken by others
Proactively provide direction, mentoring and support to project staff and partners to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards
Prepare technically sound, well written and easily understood proposals and reports
Seek feedback from clients to maximise the future work opportunities
Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner with a demonstrated understanding of Queensland Governments infrastructure planning requirements and a proven track record delivering projects to their standards. Strong knowledge of the transport infrastructure planning sector and established commercial arrangements and relationships is important. A Bachelor of Engineering, Transport Planning or equivalent is essential and other relevant qualifications are highly regarded.
