Join our dynamic Rogers Business Digital Delivery team as a Senior Delivery Manager! We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced leader who can inspire our talented crew. If you have a robust technical background in Microservice Architecture, API Builds, Spring Boot, and Java, plus expertise in Angular 12, User-Centred Design, and Agile practices, we want to hear from you! Who we're looking for:

  • Team Management

  • Inspire and mentor a team of full-time employees and contract resources, cultivating a high-performing and collaborative atmosphere.

  • Delegate tasks and projects effectively to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.

  • Track team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews to encourage ongoing development.

  • Understand and manage SOW-based contracts, overseeing vendor relationships to ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables.

  • Project Delivery

  • Oversee the complete delivery cycle of wireline applications, from gathering requirements to deployment and ongoing support.

  • Change management experience in complex programs with high-frequency requests and multiple priorities

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues when necessary to keep projects on track.

  • Develop financial estimates for initiatives, considering cost to both build and maintain solutions; support in forecasting activities.

  • Technical Expertise

  • Offer technical guidance and support to the team, addressing complex issues and implementing effective solutions.

  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the team's skills remain cutting-edge.

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are fulfilled.

  • Regularly communicate project status and progress, proactively addressing concerns and adapting strategies as needed.

  • Performance Tracking

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and KPIs, monitoring progress to drive successful outcomes.

  • Utilize strong presentation skills to engage diverse audiences and effectively convey project updates.

What you bring:

  • Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical lead or management role

  • Extensive experience in Microservice architecture

  • Proven experience in API development

  • Proficient in Spring Boot and Java

  • Familiarity with Angular 12 and above

  • Expertise in user-centered design

  • Knowledge of Agile technical practices

  • Experience with ordering catalog systems

  • Skilled in building applications that seamlessly consume RESTful APIs and interact with databases, with a strong focus on creating a common experience layer.

  • Proficient with tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Confluence

  • Soft Skills:

  • Inspiring leadership with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences

  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

  • Proficient in defining and tracking KPIs to drive project success
