Job Summary: Trane Technologies Life Science Solutions business is hiring for an Account Manager in Strategic Accounts to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting strategies and tactics to effectively acquire, manage, and profitably grow sales of company equipment and services to pharmaceutical companies and contract manufacturers in this space. We are looking for a passionate, energetic sales executive that wants to be part of a fun, fast-growing team.
Develop and manage strategic accounts using account management principles
Promote, communicate, and execute contracts with strategic accounts
Help establish peer relationships with key individuals from the strategic accounts and the company on all levels nationally, regionally, and locally.
Build teams internally to deliver value to our customers
Conduct regular account reviews with both the field and leadership
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Life Science Solutions offerings and value proposition and consistently seek ways to leverage our solutions to impact strategic accounts
Regular travel based upon the response to the needs of our customers. Expected regional travel with an average 30-40% annually but level varies during the course of a year and is dependent on COVID.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in cold chain for pharma industry
This role has been designated as Remote within a Geography . While most work can be done remotely, there are geographical travel and time-zone considerations. Shared touch-down workspace available on-site. *The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require.
