Shift: Rotating
Principal Accountabilities
Work as a team to process corn, our raw material, into sweeteners, feed products, ethanol and more sample products to ensure quality & test using lab equipment
Perform light maintenance in or around the facility, troubleshooting equipment as needed
Monitor tank levels, product temperature and pressures including observing readings on computers and field instruments, documenting key readings and information, and making appropriate adjustments both manually and/or by computer
Utilize computer systems to monitor & operate industrial equipment, such as rail moving equipment, pumps, slide gates, conveyors, load out equipment, etc.
Coordinate and complete work permits
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending/stooping, lift up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing ladders and stairs, crawling, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Computer skills with computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve data
Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts including on call scheduled, with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent knowledge
Minimum 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment
Experience operating machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation
Experience using the Forklift
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP, Microsoft Office Software with emphasis on Excel and Word or Inventory System
