Seattle Genetics Senior System Analyst in Bothell, Washington

Seattle GeneticsInformation Technology ยท Bothell, WashingtonDescriptionSummary:The Sr System Analyst is a member of the Enterprise Technology Services team in Global IT and is responsible for configuring, integrating, and maintaining scientific, quality, and clinical business applications at Seagen. This individual will act as a subject matter expert for several applications, providing technical guidance on project teams in order to meet business and compliance needs and driving continuous improvement efforts. Their broad expertise will allow them to pick up new projects or tasks with limited background and drive them to successful completion. While the role is primarily technical in nature, there also a strong emphasis on understanding business process, providing excellent customer service, and communicating with diverse audiences.Responsibilities: *Define approach to implement business applications, with focus on automation and scalability *Highlight the benefits of recommended approaches and any business process improvements from the suggested solutions *Evaluate business processes, identify needs, and develop strategies to maximize opportunities for a specific business function within Seattle Genetics *Develop system implementation and integration plans *Configure systems to suit the business needs based on the documented requirements *Participate in integration and user acceptance testing along with training and change management *Coordinate with the business users in ensuring data migration from legacy to new system/s *Partner with business stakeholders, PMO and Business Analyst on project execution *Liaise with vendor technical support team(s) to determine and implement incident resolution in a timely manner *Coordinate the implementation of patches / upgrades with the vendor to minimize impact on ongoing projects and resources *Ensure proper testing and communications are conducted *Document system support processes, flow diagrams, configurations, and interdependencies, and author other critical deliverables *Maintain compliance (e.g.SOX, 21 CFR Part 11,GxP) for regulated systems, and follow best documentation practices for non-regulated systems *Mentor junior and flex staff Qualifications: *8+years experiencesupporting and implementing large scale business applications *Graduate with 6-8 years of experience or Master's degree with 4-5years experience, preferably in a Life science industry *Demonstrated technical understanding of on-premise server architecture and management for optimal application performance *Experience using scripting, integration, or other methods to automate routine processes *Ability to quickly master new applications and business processes *Familiarity withGxPand ICH regulations and 21CFR, Part 11 *Strong interpersonal and communication skills *High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently As the leading employer in our industry in the Pacific Northwest, Seagen is proud to offer a competitive total compensation package as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the whole lives of our employees and their families.
