Boston University VACCINE ADMINISTRATOR, Student Health Services in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, the Vaccine Administrator is responsible for administering vaccines to the Boston University student population, ensuring safe and effective immunization practices. The role requires close attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and adherence to all relevant health and safety protocols.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience with vaccine administration or a similar clinical role.

  • Preference given to candidates who are Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) with current, active licensure/certification in Massachusetts.

  • Strong knowledge of vaccination schedules, contraindications, and best practices.

  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
