American Tower Treasury Analyst, Forecasting in Boston, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Treasury Analyst, Forecasting to join American Tower’s Corporate Finance organization. The Treasury Analyst, Forecasting is responsible for supporting the cash forecasting process. The incumbent will support the ongoing centralization of the liquidity forecasting process within the Corporate Treasury team. As an Analyst, you will partner cross-functionally with the Corporate Treasury team and local finance teams in more than 20 countries around the world to enhance the data gathering process. The incumbent will work to enhance processes and drive efficiencies while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and financial policies.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Regularly compile and consolidate global cash forecasts and variance analyses.

  • Use Reval to consolidate forecasts and seek ways of using the system more efficiently.

  • Support processes with local/regional Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax, M&A and Financial Planning teams to capture and incorporate data to drive more complete, accurate forecasting.

  • Support transition from local finance teams reporting forecasts to Corporate Treasury to develop centralized forecasting.

  • Support management of company’s daily liquidity position; monitor global liquidity and provide guidance to subsidiaries for liquidity management.

  • Support reporting of forecasts and other key information provided by the Treasury team.

  • Cross-train and serve as a back-up to other key operational Treasury responsibilities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.

  • Between 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in a treasury or finance organization.

  • Entry level knowledge of principles and practices of cash management and treasury functions a plus.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite. Oracle and Treasury Management Systems experience preferred (Reval a plus).

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact when interacting with others.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
