Senior Finance Manager, Client Profitability Lead, Commercial Banking
The Finance organization in Commercial Banking provides management reporting, business analytics and strategic financial leadership and support to the Commercial Banking Business. The Client Profitability lead is a critical role in the Finance organization responsible for developing reporting around client revenues and profitability which is a key input in business and strategic decisions.
Primary responsibilities include:
Create and deliver a client profitability framework and reporting tools to accurately measure revenues, capital and returns for Commercial Bank’s clients
Develop models and methodology to assign expenses and capital to clients to create accurate reporting for returns at a client level
Partner with Technology teams to design automated solutions to generate profitability data and drive project management to execute those solutions
Manage process for generating accurate client reporting on a monthly basis with appropriate checks and balances to reconcile to reported business financials
8 to 10 years of finance experience ideally in the Banking/Financial Services industry, prior experience in financial planning and analysis preferred
Strong understanding of banking financials and understanding of loan level, relationship level and business level risk adjusted returns and drivers
Significant understanding of Commercial Banking product suite and regulatory environment
Strong problem solving skills with ability to combine data analysis and critical thinking to make recommendations to solve business problems
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the big picture, while navigating through line of business detail and financials
Strong analytical, communication and presentation development skills with the ability to think strategically
Ability to work independently with a team and across various levels of management
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines during certain times by effectively managing competing priorities
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access and Power Point)
Experience with Essbase Hyperion and experience with data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau preferred
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline is required,
