The Senior Analyst (SA) models complex scientific clinical data for studies supported by the Heart Center. The SA collaborates with Principal Investigators and machine learning and computer engineers to develop clinical decision-making tools using statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques for a multicenter clinical research registry of pediatric patients with single ventricle anatomy who have undergone a Fontan procedure and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
This Senior Analyst will be responsible for:
The SA will build new databases, as needed, and maintain a valid and accurate data repository to ensure availability of required information.
Advise on the development of data collection and management systems.
Define specifications for key data elements, data collection procedures, and integrity of databases. Combine large, structured datasets to identify and report novel connections between Fontan patients and clinical outcomes.
Create the infrastructure for a sustainable data coordination and analytics hub.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in Tableau and other AWS platforms
Strong understanding of SQL syntax and/or related coding skills.
Knowledge of dimensional data modeling concepts used in data warehousing and business analytic applications.
Basic knowledge of biostatistical techniques.
Familiarity with SAS, SPSS or other statistical software platforms.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders across the organization.
To qualify, you must have:
Minimum of 2 years of relatable experience.
