Citizens Bank Risk Monitoring Team Lead in Boston, Massachusetts
As the Risk Monitoring Team Lead, you will deliver the monitoring and testing program for assigned products, processes and services. The Risk Monitoring Team Lead will be accountable for defining the monitoring and testing target state with the FLOD Risk team and responsible for providing expert guidance. Through a team, the Team Lead will deliver control testing and continuous monitoring which are critical to determining control environment effectiveness in accordance to established timelines. The Team Lead will provide comprehensive and detailed analysis explaining drivers in control trends over time and recommendations to the assessment method. Will maintain up-to-date understanding of business processes along with regulatory, statutory and legislative requirements for risk management and controls. Responsible for coaching, training and developing a team of Risk Monitoring colleagues. Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders as it relates to the Risk Monitoring and Testing strategy.
Deliver on the monitoring and testing roadmap to define the target state for risk monitoring and control testing. Through workshops, drive the identification and implementation of continuous monitoring and risk-adjusted control testing. Increase the use of KRIs/KCIs, automated testing and data analytics to provide value and insight to key stakeholders.
Manage the control monitoring and testing program for multiple complex lines of business and their related products, processes and services. Through a team, meet all established SLAs related to control self testing and continuous monitoring. As a result of RCSA outcomes, make recommendations to existing risks/controls/control assessment method. Support exam management through delivery of control monitoring documentation and related analysis. Support risk issue closure. Maintain up-to-date understanding of business processes along with regulatory, statutory and legislative requirements for risk management and controls.
Provide comprehensive and detailed analysis explaining drivers in control trends over time and recommendations to the assessment method. Present analysis of testing and monitoring outcomes to key stakeholders.
Manage a team of professionals to achieve established goals. Development of a superior workforce.
• 8-12 years experience in Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance
• Prior experience implementing and supporting enterprise wide Risk programs
• Experience with Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) platforms
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and legislative guidelines
• Extensive experience managing projects including planning, implementation, and reporting
• Demonstrated interpersonal relationship building and team facilitation skills
• Proven leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s Degree OR at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD)

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
