Boston University PROJECT MANAGER III, Information Services & Technology, Projects, Programs, & Governance in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Our Project Management Office team is looking for a Project Manager III who will be responsible for managing projects primarily in Academic Reporting Program and the Academic Data Warehouse but responsibilities will also include projects in the Student Systems and other programs as needed. This position reports directly to the Student Systems and Academic Reporting Program Manager. This position is eligible for either hybrid or in-office work arrangements.
Position responsibilities:
Plan delivery of projects in close collaboration with University clients, and with IS&T staff (Architects, Developers, Engineers, System Administrators, and Service Operations).
Manage project teams and delivery of projects including requirements gathering, design, resourcing, project plans, execution, change control, transition to service operations, and project closure.
Proactively manage issues and risks.
Manage project resources, budget and schedule.
Manage requirements gathering within projects.
Collaborate with clients to understand and document as-is and to-be processes and requirements.

Required Skills
B.A./B.S. required.
IT Project Management experience and demonstrated understanding of structured project management methodologies required.
Three to five years of related experience desired.
Candidate must have strong communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Academic Reporting and Campus Solutions technologies strongly desired.
Certification in one or more areas related to project and service management strongly desired.
