Boston University PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER, School of Medicine, Hematology & Med Oncology in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Oversee and perform all administrative and organizational activities for the clinical and research programs of the Amyloidosis Center. Includes budget preparation for the Center and research funding. Manage and train all staff as necessary for their positions, responsible for payroll, monitor staff vacation, and travel. Manage all Center funds including endowments and grants. Oversee and manage Amyloidosis Center website and social media platforms. Prepare grant budgets and all paperwork associated with grant and contract submissions for faculty and postdoctoral students. Provide information about the Center and Amyloidosis to callers. Oversee telephone and email contact with patients, families and physicians. Perform administrative function for the pathology sections of the Amyloid Research laboratory.

Required Skills

The Amyloidosis Center is seeking someone with 4-5 years experience in management in an academic setting. Applicant should have a Bachelor degree with a preference for a Master degree. Must be able to multi-task in a busy office.
