Citizens Manager Valuation - Willamette in Boston, Massachusetts
Description
Willamette Management Associates (A Citizens Company) is seeking talented candidates interested in a growth opportunity as a business valuation Manager.
We seek an experienced Manager with an interest in the disciplines of business valuation (including closely held company valuation, illiquid stock and bond valuation, and intangible asset and intellectual property valuation). Analytics also include economic damages, related forensic analysis, intangible property appraisal, and intercompany transfer pricing analysis.
We are currently recruiting for the Manager level role in our Atlanta or Boston office.
Work with senior analysts, prepare and review quantitative valuation and other analytics
Prepare written expert reports, deliver oral presentations, and develop new client engagements
Perform financial advisory services primarily for transaction, taxation, and litigation purposes
Work to cultivate client relationships to develop, maintain and generate revenue
Demonstrate thought leadership through professional publication and professional organization activities
Act as primary contact with major corporate and institutional clients
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in preparing business valuation and expert witness reports
1+ years of experience managing engagement workflow, overseeing and developing associate analyst team members on fundamental valuations, and interacting with clients
Demonstrated thought leadership and experience in accounting and management due diligence
Demonstrated ability to work collectively within teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL), preferred
One or more of the following credentials: certified public accountant (CPA), accredited in business valuation (ABV), chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation, certified business appraiser (CBA), certified valuation analyst (CVA), or accredited senior appraiser (ASA)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics is required
Master’s degree or MBA preferred
