Boston University MANAGER OF ACADEMIC SERVICES AND GRADUATE ADMISSIONS, School of Hospitality Administration in BOSTON, Massachusetts

  • Provide a management support in directing delivery of academic counseling and student services to meet the needs of the students at the School of Hospitality.

  • Work with Director of Academic Programs in providing support for all student onboarding for the college including orientation for entering students.

  • This position provides advising, outreach, and University policy dissemination to undergraduate and graduate students and constituents necessary for successful matriculation and graduation.

  • Work with the Chair of Undergraduate Programs & the Director of Academic Programs to oversee and evaluate petitions, class scheduling, and academic actions.

  • Acts as a liaison among graduate students, program faculty and administration Liaises with International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO), and facilitates the I-20 process for international students.

  • Monitors individual student progress and advises students about program completion requirements; manages graduate records, assists in maintaining a vibrant student culture within the School.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and three to five years of experience required. Working in higher education setting preferred.
