Job Purpose and Summary:

As a key member of the Digital, Data, Analytics and Technology (“DDAT”) team, this role will join a dynamic organization committed to the acceleration of business growth, enhancement of the customer experiences, and enablement of operational efficiencies by powering CVS Health to be a ‘digital first, technology forward and data driven’ company. The EVP, DDAT reports directly to the CEO of CVS Health and is a critical member of the executive leadership team of the company. The Lead Director, Operations Advisor role reports to the DDAT Chief of Staff (VP, Sr. Strategic Advisor) and will support the Office of the EVP, DDAT and the leadership team. Under the supervision of the VP, Sr. Strategic Advisor, the Operations Advisor will manage the day-to-day operations, and implement the initiatives as set forth by the EVP, DDAT in alignment with the Company’s strategy and goals. The Operations Advisor will also support ongoing managerial infrastructure for the group.

Responsibilities will include, among other deliverables, managing day-to-day operations of the DDAT leadership team, as well as using project management tools, strategies, and best practices to facilitate the progression of the team’s priorities. Working internally across DDAT, this team member will coordinate with other team members within the DDAT and business unit organizations to manage executive commitments, ongoing department operations, and special project implementations across department.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional KPI analytics – set the standards, identify cross-functional impacts, highlight, and escalate risks appropriately; Day-to-day direction across all DDAT Chief of Staff resources to ensure alignment

  • Drive alignment across DDAT teams by maintaining and updating critical information related to strategic goals and outcomes, operational reporting, and value delivery, with the goal of improving efficiency, standardization, and transparency

  • Provide leadership for management of the DDAT initiatives function by partnering closely with key stakeholders to achieve shared goals / outcomes

  • Develop a clear, strong understanding of the DDAT strategy and our operating models to guide creation of artifacts, tools, messages, etc.; Active support partner of the DDAT strategy, proactively monitor and evaluate progress of strategy

  • Manage day-to-day cross-functional DDAT operations (meeting planning, artifact coordination, etc.)

  • Manage completion and operationalization of projects that support DDAT and corporate goals through project management - serve as liaison between DDAT Operations and other internal stakeholders including Enterprise Communications and Enterprise Strategy

  • Create and maintain standardized templates, agendas, dashboards, deployment frameworks, reports, presentations, and other tools to support and organize key elements of program management infrastructure for DDAT

  • Identify areas and opportunities for thought leadership, and develop concepts and ideas into useable frameworks for our DDAT operations and business partners

  • Troubleshoot issues and problem solve independently and efficiently, managing, and escalating risks to leadership

  • Maintain accountability for a change management and continuous improvement strategy that promotes our mission and vision for strategic growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of strategic leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role influencing Enterprise business decisions.

  • 6+ years of Project management experience.

  • Senior level understanding of technology and operations with ability to solve complex problems and drive cross-functional change; think and act strategically.

  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder client environment.

  • Highly collaborative and communicative team player with experience working in fast-paced, multi-functional team environments, and influential experience.

  • Senior level experience managing change and in developing and maintaining excellent relations with executives, customers, operations, and staff at all levels.

  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and initiatives simultaneously, while staying organized and prioritizing work according to Digital, Data, Analytics, and Technology - DDAT strategy and goals.

  • Track record of successful project management, time management, and organizational skills for multifaceted complex projects, highly organized with impeccable attention to detail

  • Excellent business acumen, written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to convey information in an accessible, concise, and clear manner

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High energy level; comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.

  • Approaches challenges with a sense of urgency, ability to work well under pressure and take direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience

  • Master’s degree

  • PMP Certification

    Education Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Work Experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $227,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
