Boston University IDEA HUB RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, School of Public Health in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The Relationship Manager will be an essential team member for idea hub, the School of Public Healths research innovation center designed to connect BUSPH with non-traditional partners. The Relationship Manager will advance our efforts to build new networks and facilitate new research collaborations between faculty and industry partners. The Relationship Manager will work with faculty and staff across the school and university, which includes a diverse, creative, and passionate group of public health and higher education professionals. Candidates for the position should have a startup mentality, engage in creative problem solving, and have excellent organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.

Build relationships inside and external to the university; represent the mission and values of BUSPH in all interactions
Develop and manage partnerships between industry and non-traditional funders and BUSPH faculty
Identify and pursue key business leads from a variety of sectors
Draft pitch decks and work with faculty and grants administrators to draft project proposals
Data management, including maintaining detailed tracking of sales activities and partner contact information
Other duties as assigned
Bachelors degree required.
3-5 years of public health, development, or sales experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong networking skills
Ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment
Excel and HubSpot experience preferred
