Lux Research Inc HR Administrator in Boston, Massachusetts
The HR Administrator will be primarily responsible for payroll processing, benefit enrollments and terminations, new hire onboarding, and supporting the ATS platform and scheduling interviews for hiring managers. This position is an integral part of the HR and Finance team to help ensure a great employee experience and will be making contributions at all levels across a global company.
This role will be reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager.
Administers benefit plans through the completion of enrollments and terminations, processing required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper recording of deductions.
Assists with annual open enrollment periods by arranging for distribution of materials from providers, disseminating communications of changes to employees, processing benefit changes within specified deadlines.
Responsible for administration of employment-related transactions and paperwork and employee file maintenance.
Complete onboarding for new hires in ADP which includes entering them, assigning their onboarding experience and ensuring all paperwork is filled out timely.
Assist with scheduling onboarding plans for new hires.
Process semi-monthly payroll and assist with any ADP inquiries.
Process changes in payroll such as adding new states and making sure best practices are followed.
Communicate payroll changes to all international payroll companies on a monthly basis.
Supports recruiting efforts by compiling and providing recruiting related paperwork to managers and employees, scheduling interviews, and drafting offer letters.
Tracks status of candidates in ATS and responds to candidates with follow ups on their application status including connecting with all employee referrals to ensure they are not lost in the process.
Manage the ordering of new hire gift kits and scheduling onboarding meetings.
With coordination from Human Resources, designs and implements office safety policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments for the reopening of all of Lux?s offices.
Maintain Lux?s Organizational chart with any staffing changes.
Assist Human Resources with maintaining HR?s SharePoint site.
Act as the main point of contact to the building management company.
Assist with as-needed projects.

Associates degree in Human Resources, Finance or related field and/or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in Human Resources including payroll and recruitment.
Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
Experience with ADP is a plus.
Proficient with office software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Works independently as well as in a team environment.
Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks.
