Sodexo is seeking a District Manage r for our convenience solutions/InReach operations.

This position is remote with travel and will be responsible for overseeing our branch operations across the Mid-Atlantic region.

We are looking for a strong, dynamic and passionate leader with experience in the convenience market (vending, micro-markets/cafes, office refreshment services, pantry and snack boxes) who can affectively manage the operations in line with financial and operational goals, exceed client expectations, and grow the business.

The successful candidate will:

  • Successfully coordinate and direct all activities across 4-7 branches within the assigned geographic area through branch managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development

  • Develop a business plan and budget and work with branches to communicate priorities and progress

  • Recognize and develop key talent to ensure a pipeline of future operational leaders

  • Identify customer issues quickly, and promptly respond with appropriate communication and/or corrective action with operations and Key Account Managers

  • Collaborate with other departments to improve business processes, efficiencies and best practices

  • Champion a safety-focused work environment for all operations

  • Carry out all leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

Is this the right opportunity for you? We are seeking candidates that have/are:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Seven years of operations experience, preferably in the convenience solutions space

  • An effective communicator and collaborator with a passion for developing talent through coaching and accountability

  • Strong relationship skills to effectively work internally as well as externally to the organization.

  • Experience with or skills to learn and work within vending inventory management software, route scheduling software, and Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

  • Ability to frequently travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and periodically to other areas as needed
