The District Asset Protection Leader (DAPL) implements asset protection objectives, and administers asset protection programs. The DAPL provides assistance and training to the field operations teams to address specific asset protection issues with an assigned span of control. The DAPL drives results by forging strong business relationships and working in a team environment to service internal and external customers. The DAPL reports to the Regional Asset Protection Manager who reports to the Divisional Asset Protection Director. The DAPL is aligned with the District Leaders(s) from the field Operations team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes company asset protection and shrink reduction strategies to protect assets from loss due to internal/external theft and operational compliance issues
Owns partnership and alignment of District Leaders and Store Managers to integrate Asset Protection priorities in span of control
Works with field operations to define accountability and what must be done to achieve the desired results
Communicates with field operations teams to provide feedback on execution of asset protection strategies in span of control
Conducts timely, ethical, and professional investigations of all potential front store and pharmacy internal theft incidents
Completes Asset Protection health assessments and leverages field tools to identify shrink risk and operational compliance opportunities in assigned stores
Assists Store managers in the development of effective action plans and ensures timely follow up to validate execution is achieved
Attains budgeted results for shrink and P&L performance in assigned span of control
Validates execution of Asset Protection Coordinator program in assigned span of control (if applicable)
Maintains professional liaison with all local law enforcement officials to ensure appropriate coordination of investigations and/or prosecutions.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in retail store manager/asset protection/loss prevention management
2 years of experience with multiple store responsibility
80% travel within greater Boston Metro area
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS in Criminal Justice, Business Management or Accounting or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills
Word and Excel knowledge is required
Knowledge of conducting legal and ethical investigations
Ability to build strong business relationships with all levels of an organization
Ability to function in a team environment. Give as well as accept constructive criticism
Education:
High school diploma
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
