The Clinical Research Assistant in this position will interact with a variety of investigators from the Cardiovascular & Critical Care Cluster of Clinical Research Excellence, including those in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Critical Care, Nutrition and Pain Management as well as the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. One major component of the position will require patient/parent and physician contact for the Patient Biorepository initiative. Other tasks will be a mixture of short- and longer-term activities that may involve but are not limited to regulatory submissions, data and specimen coordination, study preparation, and patient screening. The successful candidate will be adaptable, skilled with multi-tasking, have strong written and oral communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or scientific field.

  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical, communication, organizational, and writing skills.

​ Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
