Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage new material request, end to end varying from simple to moderately complex. Resource is expected to be self driven in navigating and following procedures and can consult other senior resources in the team.

• Initiate new Material request using Data Setup Tools (MICAW,MICAW-J, PPC); follow defined processes, tools, governance, and project management best practices. Material Types scope are FERT (finished goods) and HAWA ( trading goods). Resource is expected to work with senior resources of the team, marketing or APL for complex SKU set up. Resource can draw and deduce from past cases handled.

• Work with Portfolio Leader, Marketer, Material Create Team Lead, MICAW Data Providers, Regional Data Ops Team and GSC PH MDM Ops Team on readiness and due diligence for new Material setup.

• Independently organize and execute kick off and standup meeting (daily/weekly) with Data Providers to get updates, address issues, and escalate topics. Resource can establish support needed from supervisor and other senior resources.

• Communicate with key stakeholders and clients on progress including escalating issues/challenges to Material Create Team Leader and/or Portfolio Leaders.

• Communicate new processes, tools, and resources, and any changes as they arise.

• Create documentation (training materials, process flows, SOPs) as assigned.

• Provide training on new tools and processes to the Functional Data Providers.

• Generate reports and metrics using existing dashboards, reporting tools, or manual data extract.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Has relevant Material Management experience.

• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant working experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university

• SAP experience is a plus

• Knowledge of product portfolio, business rules and business models.

• Knowledge with data governance and quality.

• Experience with metrics and reporting.

• Good Process and Tools knowledge.

• Effective communicator and ability to navigate the chain.

• Task oriented.

• Knowledgeable in Japanese Language (Reading, Writing is required while Speaking, Listening is preferred)
