Trane Technologies Solutions Marketing Manager, Thermo King in Bloomington, Minnesota

The Solutions Marketing Manager will lead the portfolio and product marketing strategy and execution for Thermo King Americas. This highly collaborative, strategic marketing role will work closely with product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams to position our portfolios to win in the market. The role is responsible for supporting our channel teams with product specific sales enablement content and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and activate positioning and marketing strategy that supports the revenue growth goals for trailer, truck, APU, digital, and Bus HVAC portfolios.

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy for the zero-emissions eVolve portfolio (Truck, Trailer, APU) and collaborate with Strategic Campaign manager to evangelize our electrification strategy.

  • Update and maintain portfolio-related marketing and sales content (website, collateral, playbooks, presentations, etc.)

  • Provide marketing leadership and strategy for incorporating customer insights (persona, journey maps, segmentation, VOC) into portfolio roadmaps and commercialization in partnership with product management and engineering (member of PGT).

  • Act as the primary marketing lead for new product and technology commercialization activities.

  • Provide product and technology related content for Thermo King events – VIP meetings, trade shows, dealer showcase, etc.

  • Partner with Channel & Customer Marketing Manager to promote solutions to relevant audiences and achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of integrated marketing experience, launching mechanical and digital solutions in the B2B space.

  • Technical aptitude to understand mechanical and digital solutions and translate the value to a customer.

  • Exceptional people and communication skills, creativity, and team leadership

  • Knowledge of marketing strategy and execution in a complex (matrix) business environment

  • Demonstrated business acumen, able to articulate the business strategy and persuasively communicate marketing strategy and business impact.

  • A track record of delivering outstanding tangible results in a high-performance environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar

  • Experience influencing direct and in-direct channel partners

Base Compensation Range is $94,000 - $125,000. Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
