SUMMARY

The Selects Sales and Operations Manager is responsible for the successful recruitment of new, replacement test centers and alternative testing solutions for the Select Channel and other 3rd Party test centers as needed. In addition, the Selects Sales and Operations Manager takes responsibility of PVTC regulatory recruitment, PVTC Selects site activation, relationship management, capacity maximization, and overall operational effectiveness.

Working closely with the Director, Global Selects, prospects and customers, marketing team, and other internal groups, the Selects Sales and Operations Manager develops, launches, and maintains the PVTC Select channel and other 3rd Party test centers as needed.

  • Successfully recruit, retain, grow and replace PVTC Select channel partner network in your region (as appropriate) to successfully achieve defined volume and profitability.

  • Ensure that the assigned channel footprint meets our clients’ expectations with extra focus on on-site retention. Proactively and enthusiastically develop and manage PVTC Select channel partners to ensure satisfaction levels are high, opportunities are known, and maximized and profitable volume targets are achieved.

  • Provide any required sales support to PVTC Select channel partners in the most timely, intelligent, and optimal manner possible.

  • Partner closely with respective market managers for IT & Professional client revenue-generating activities as designated

  • Successfully coordinate and manage defined sales-operation processes and policies through to successful resolution, including contract administration, analyzing and giving suggestions on incoming partner web applications, and general channel sales-operation supporting tasks.

  • Proactively provide feedback on suggested improved procedures, improved channel sales tools, and systems to increase profitability and testing volumes through effective and timely sales-operation support.

  • Participate in occasional key industry events, as and when required.

Launching & Monitoring Operation Processes and Standards

  • Own entire Select implementation from contract through end-of-life to ensure timely and effective site operation.

  • Working closely with the Selects Channel Efficiency Manager, Capacity Management Group, and the Manager, Channel Partner Services to make accurate estimations so to ensure smooth and cost-efficient operation in the Selects and other 3rd Party sites by ensuring adequate capacity is available in sites for peaks in demand per client.

  • Work with the Selects Channel Efficiency Manager, Capacity Management Group and Manager, Channel Partner Services to ensure blocks are in place as appropriate, and correct scheduling scenarios are being used to best utilize available hours at a testing center.

  • Dedicate to intimately knowing the state of each Select (i.e. strengths, weaknesses, and impact on customer satisfaction, economy, markets, etc.)

    • Report routinely on these areas
  • Communicate and monitor operational processes and standards in the Selects and other 3rd Party sites as needed.

PVTC Select & Channel Sales & Management

  • Recruit prospective PVTC Selects & maintain pipelines to minimize dark locations

  • Research leads for areas where Pearson VUE testing is not available and geographic coverage has been requested by the client.

  • Record all calls in the SalesForce database

  • Track and report on all recruitment updates on appropriate client reports.

  • Negotiate contracts, including decisions on payments, equipment that may be provided to a site, upgrades to facilities that may be reimbursed to accommodate testing, and whether or not staffing will be provided by site or by Pearson VUE.

  • Collect, relevant photos and site security information to ensure site will meet security and compliance standards per company and client contractual guidelines.

  • Negotiate contract amendments so to ensure both temporary and permanent locations have been established as part of contingency planning

Relationship Management

  • Hold business owners accountable in a motivating and action-oriented manner

  • Understand relevant aspects of client relationships and contractual obligations

  • Maintain relationships with culturally and professionally diverse Pearson VUE offices

  • Work internally with other departments of Pearson VUE to manage the impact resulting from decisions made by these departments

  • Develop weekly and ad-hoc reports and status updates as needed

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required

  • 3 years customer relationship management required

  • Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite required

  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English required

  • 2 years sales or recruitment experience strongly preferred

  • Experience working in Salesforce preferred

  • Quota experience preferred
