As a Lead Pool Attendant, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.


  • Oversee the pool staff to meet safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness and ambiance; work with supporting departments to meet operational needs

  • Ensure the staff is providing safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations; adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property

  • Report guests and employee incidents/accidents to a Supervisor and complete needed documentation

  • Ensure the staff is proactively greeting and interacting with guests while adhering to company service standards; assist all guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions and other needs

  • Ability to direct guests to key locations in the property including emergency exits and procedures

  • Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties

  • Supervise the completion of daily pool set-up and breakdown needs, cleaning, linen distribution and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested


  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

  • Ability to read and write

  • Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally

  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards


  • No minimum requirements


  • Experience as a Pool Guest Attendant or Lifeguard

  • Experience in a similar resort setting
