Cargill Strategic Marketing and Technology Manager - Dairy and Pet in Bengaluru, India

Job Purpose and Impact

The Strategic Marketing and Technology Manager - Dairy and Pet will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition and Health business in India and will contribute to strategy and oversee execution of product line activities for a single product. In this role, you will help design and implement a comprehensive product marketing cycle and guide a team that will identify market potential, establish pricing and market strategies, estimate potential sales, define promotional activities and handle product through phase out.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for New Product Services and Solution development.

  • Will be working on new business development opportunities from a marketing perspective.

  • Oversee preparation and coordination of product introductions and updates.

  • Supervise compiling and evaluating research on market product requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality.

  • Coordinate program planning with customers to identify manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs and similar considerations.

  • Oversee planning, organization and coordination of assigned programs to accomplish financial and budgetary goals.

  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualification: Bachelors' degree in veterinary science (Animal Husbandry)

  • Must have 8 years of product management exposure

  • Should have hands-on experience of marketing and launching Dairy and Pet products

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders in the commercial team and coordinating with multiple teams

  • MBA is an added advantage

  • Three years of supervisory experience

  • Strong project management experience
