Cargill Lifecycle Management Analyst in Bengaluru, India

Job Purpose and Impact

OSC Lifecycle Management Analyst will be primarily responsible for co-ordination and operational activities for the Infrastructure Lifecycle program in the Operations and Supply Chain portfolio in EMEA. Part of the responsibility will include liaising with Service Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, Project Teams and other technical teams to ensure that the Lifecycle projects are on track and any deviation is taken care of. In future, apart from the Lifecycle activities, the incumbent will also be involved in Application Rationalisation and Modernisation Activities for the portfolio.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate partnering and cross-functional collaboration across our information technology teams for a small subset of the organization.

  • Contribute to performing and executing the purchase, design, installation, configuration and maintenance of operating system equipment and software.

  • Collaborate with enterprise structure to implement short- and long-term information technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

  • Work with enterprise architecture to execute on existing technology architecture and systems solutions.

  • Liaise with the various stakeholders involved in deciding the scope of items to be life cycled in the portfolio – Inputs from Service Delivery Managers, TGRC Guidelines, Lifecycle criteria (e.g., warranty and support expiration, End of Life status etc.), Infrastructure reports, specific requests from Business Units, App Enablement Team’s reports

  • Work with the Capacity Planners to ensure that resources are assigned to the Lifecyle Projects

  • Track the progress on the Projects and Smallworks and look for any challenges/deviations in the projected timelines through constant followups with the Project Managers

  • Participate and actively contribute to the Lifecycle planning and budget discussions within the Service Delivery Advisors, Project and Business Stakeholders


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or other related field. Or equivalent work experience or MBA from Tier 1/Tier 2 Business school preferable

  • 1 to3 years of IT and business/industry work experience

  • Ability to work across multiple geographies and functional teams to set direction, build understanding of the process, getting consensus

  • Ability to accomplish results working in a matrix organization

  • Sound understanding of ITIL processes and service management framework (or a similar process driven framework)

  • Proven, communication, partnership, collaboration, and influencing skills

  • Ability to speak English fluently both in verbal and written format to be able to effectively communicate operational information in an effective manner

  • Strong Co-ordination and Stakeholder Management Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization and cross-function/platform
