Cargill Derivatives Operations Lead in Bengaluru, India
Job Purpose and Impact
The Derivatives Operations Lead will develop and implement the global group strategy for delivery, specialization and differentiation derivatives operations services within Financial Operations for defined regions and activities to support the businesses on end to end derivatives transaction flow, including trading data and analytics and derivatives commodity compliance. In this role, you will partner collaboratively with the derivatives operations teams to centralize capabilities and activities within Financial Operations, to support trading including applying differentiated service model, evaluating and approving all exceptions to the standard design and providing expertise on technology solutions e.g. the Global Derivatives Project and continuous improvement, and data integrity, as well as partner with key external contacts such as clearing brokers and vendors to ensure effective derivatives operations.
Key Accountabilities
Build the key capabilities needed to execute against vision, perform gap analysis and talent capability growth or acquisition.
Partner with other trade product control leaders, business and trading leaders as well as clearing brokers and vendors to deliver the derivatives operations service model.
Collaborate with key derivatives operations teams and business stakeholders to identify and handle impacts of the implementation of trading and risk management vision, and ensure operational risks and issues are escalated, owned and resolved in a timely manner across the shared service organisation, and define and manage derivatives policies, business & legal entity account structures, products and limits in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, company policies and third party agreements.
Execute the derivatives operations strategy with continuous improvement, advising to develop key metrics and measurement for derivatives operations process effectiveness, evaluate the performance and leverage internal and external industry best practices.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Broad and deep expert knowledge in derivatives operations
Confirmed experience in derivatives operations or adjacent function in a trading environment
In depth knowledge to leverage technology in operational, reporting and analysis processes
Minimum of six years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Broad knowledge in building and improving the company's trading and risk management ecosystem
Experience in leveraging digital technology in trading, operational, reporting and analysis processes
Three years of supervisory experience
