This position is located in the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), Office of Science (OS) located in Beltsville, Maryland. Provides administrative direction to subordinate employees performing the work and functions of an administrative and management operations team.
Performs a variety of analytical assignments and studies associated with OS line programs and management systems.
Plans and assigns projects and responsibilities to be accomplished by team members.
Oversees OS?s recruitment efforts by collaborating with the CTP?s Office of Management.
Develops detailed plans, goals and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of OS programs.
Conditions of Employment
The position of Supervisory Management and Program Analyst falls within the 0343 occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade GS-14, you must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by 11:59 pm EST on 03/01/2021. Minimum Qualifications You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service that includes experience leading, developing and analyzing program operations and activities to improve program effectiveness and coordinating with program experts to develop organizational performance goals, outcomes and targets for the office or organization. Time-in-Grade: Any individual who is currently holding, or has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet time-in-grade requirements (must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent in the Federal service). Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. In accordance with Office of Personnel Management policy, federal employees are assumed to have gained experience by performing duties and responsibilities appropriate for their official series and grade level as described in their position description.
