Cargill Tax Analyst (CSL) in Bangkok, Thailand
Job Purpose and Impact
The Tax Analyst II will perform routine and project based tax activities that include consultation and internal controls with medium to high complexity requiring general tax knowledge. In this role, you will provide corporate tax advice and support related to corporate tax compliance, development of tax solutions and advice and resolution of legal disputes and audits.
Key Accountabilities
Provide consultation to tax personnel and businesses about value added tax taxation processes and outputs for generally defined items of medium to high complexity requiring general understanding of principles, theories, concepts and analysis.
Provide support to subsidiaries, joint ventures, business staff and other tax department personnel by responding to a full range of low to medium complexity tax inquiries and assisting with a variety of tax compliance activities.
Monitor legislation and generally accepted methods for verification of suppliers and participate in regular oversight of the process to continuously improve and ensure efficiency.
Conduct tax related research and analysis requiring a general understanding of tax practices and procedures.
Handle routine and straightforward correspondence with the external revenue bodies and inquiries from various taxing authorities.
Advise on transfer pricing matters applicable to a routine business transactions, participating in the contract approval process for domestic transactions.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of related work experience
