Job Summary

To support new product development, new technology investigation, quality & reliability issues and value engineering & value analysis projects through structural, dynamic simulation. The new resource expected to have good knowledge in vibration-based condition monitoring/prognostics, robust analysis, durability analysis, data science and artificial intelligence.

Key Competencies

  • Hands on Experience in Finite Element Analysis and Applied Mechanics testing.

  • Good Strength of Material Background

  • Excellent knowledge in fatigue and system durability

  • Good understanding of structural health monitoring

  • Good knowledge on Vibration and vibration data acquisition.

  • Good communication skills

  • Knowledge in vibration-based condition monitoring/prognostics, data science and artificial intelligence.

  • Key Skillsets: Ansys Workbench, Matlab, Python, Siemens Testlab/B&K Daq, nCode/FeSafe

Responsibilities

  1. Utilize practical experience to conduct Finite Element Analysis and Applied Mechanics testing.

  2. Apply strong background in Strength of Materials to ensure the durability and strength of products, while also accounting for fatigue

  3. Demonstrate a deep understanding of structural health monitoring and effectively utilize vibration data acquisition techniques.

  4. Possess strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with team members.

  5. Apply your knowledge in vibration-based condition monitoring/prognostics, data science, and artificial intelligence to improve product performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  1. Holding a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, with hands-on experience specifically in the field of mechanical engineering Climate products.

  2. Possessing at least 8 years of relevant experience in conducting Structural and Dynamics Simulations.

  3. Demonstrating a deep understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, with a strong knowledge base in Strength of Materials, Failure Theories, Mechanical Vibrations, and Artificial Intelligence.

  4. Candidates with expertise in structural health monitoring, durability analysis using data science and AI methodologies, preferably based on field data, will be given preference.

  5. Previous experience in performing FE-Test comparisons for dynamic analysis is required.

  6. Familiarity with fatigue calculations using tools such as nCode or FE Safe is necessary.

  7. Having experience in vibration testing using LMS or B&K data acquisition is desirable.

  8. Experience in conducting accelerated vibration life testing for dynamic and thermal issues would be an advantage.
