Job Description:

Cerner is elated to hire a Software Engineer ll. As an Software Engineer ll, you will make enhancements and bug fixes to the existing software with minimal direction and participate in the code reviews. Your responsibilities include, identifying moderate issues or deviations from best practices and collaborating on component level technical designs. In this role you will own and assist others in debugging and documenting root cause analysis and find resolutions, you will also identify process improvements at team level to support operations and development ecosystem.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:

  • 1 year software engineering work experience

  • 4 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems or Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent, relevant work experience

  • Experience working on Advanced Java, Core Java, SQL language, Maven, Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java web services (Restful , SOAP) , Advanced Java/Core Java Concepts.
