Senior Project Coordinator
Cerner is looking to expand our team with a new Senior Project Coordinator! As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of projects and support of project teams. You will facilitate coordination and communication amongst teams, schedule and lead team meetings, monitor and report project or team performance against specified project goals and objectives and work to build and maintain internal stakeholder relationships
As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will also achieve project deliverables and monitor the projects daily and escalate issues that impact the roadmap. Finally, you will be responsible for updating and monitoring through project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Version 1, etc.) and learn and facilitate either the SCRUM or LEAN process for your assigned team(s). We are looking for individuals who have the ability and interest to learn technical terms, software development cycles, and actively manage projects from start to completion. Basic Qualifications :
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
• At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Project Coordinator
• At least 2 years of experience working on Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban or sprint planning
• At least 1 year of experience playing a scrum master role for teams that diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
• Holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Knowledge of SDLC would be preferred
