Job Summary

As a Thermal Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing HVAC systems. Your expertise in modeling, simulation, and analysis will contribute to the development of efficient and reliable Climate solutions.

Key Competencies

  • Hands on Experience on 1D Systems Modeling in Thermal / HVAC domains.

  • Good Exposure to tools like Dymola, Open-Modelica, MATLAB-Simulink, Python etc.

  • Familiarity with optimization techniques and tools.

  • Knowledge of control systems and feedback control.

  • Good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop Physics based 1D Models for assessment of components and Systems for HVAC applications.

  • Analyze system & Component behavior, performance, and efficiency through simulations.

  • Conduct sensitivity analyses, assess design feasibility and perform tradeoff studies using the system models.

  • Possess strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with team members.

  • Stay updated on advancements in thermal Systems modeling, simulation, and optimization

Qualifications

  • Holding a Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Thermal Engineering, with hands-on experience specifically in the field of Thermal / HVAC engineering Climate products.

  • Possessing at least 3-6 years of relevant experience in Thermal 1D Simulations in HVAC, Automotive, Aerospace or other relevant industries.

  • Strong proficiency in systems modeling and simulation.

  • Experience with Dymola, Matlab, and Simulink, AMESim, GT-Suite.

  • Solid understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
