Job Description:

Cerner is excited to hire a Program Manager II. As a Program Manager II, you will design and execute programs aligned with corporate and organizational imperatives and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve vision, objectives, and develop program strategy. In this role, you will manage resources which may include people, data, processes and financial investments and also involve in research and evaluate new processes, methods, practices and materials. Additionally, you will initiate and develop relationships with internal and external constituencies and provide consultative services and support. You will also Develop and maintain program metrics and outcomes reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 1 years of Project/program management work experience.

  • At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good Knowledge on Operations Management and Forecast models.

  • Experience in data slicing, interpretation of financial, process and technology data and driven improvements.

  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office tools like Excel, PPT, etc along with good skills on reporting tools like Tableau.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to establish vision, objectives, and program strategy for the Business Group.

  • Ensure all agile team operate smoothly, align with our quality and delivery excellence standards by monitoring on daily basis and address them instantly.

  • Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures and people through Prescriptive Analytics.

  • Establish OKRs, Internal metrics Strategy & conduct quality assessments on a periodic basis.

  • Set and manage the financial plan for program including TCO & Cost / Expense / Spend Management for both full time associates and contractors.

  • Managing Contractor engagement and extensions.

  • Drive Organization Health & Shape towards future Ownership & Accountability needs.

  • Ensuring adherence to processes that meet business objectives and ensure compliance through support to Audit (Internal & External).

  • Coordinate with the HR, Recruitment and engineering team to ensure hiring plans and on-boarding meet our business needs.

  • Establishing and driving CoPs (Centers of Practices).

  • BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) Plans & Execution along with Hybrid Working model strategy and implementation.

  • OHES (Organizational Health and Engagement Survey) action items strategy & tracking.

  • Leadership / Executive Presentations and Operational reports.

  • Group Events – Agenda and coordination and execution (Manager connects, quarterly BG connects, Offsites, etc).

  • Continuous Improvement of Collaboration & Communication strategy across organization.

  • Cultural Connect & Advancement along with Rewards & Recognition program.
