Ingersoll Rand Engineer - ETO in Bangalore, India

Position: ETO Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Reporting: Team Leader

Nature of work: Individual contributor

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Engineering and design of Industrial equipment such as compressors/vacuum pumps/blowers and subsystems.

  • Creation and PLM release of 3D parts/assemblies, 2D drawings, and technical documentation as per Ingersoll-Rand standards.

  • Coordination of project documentation preparation according to agreed times, methods, and procedures with the customer.

  • Creation of standard technical documentation, including technical drawings, data sheets, spreadsheets, P&IDs, inspection and test reports, spare parts lists, and more.

  • Delivery of component, assembly, or system-level design tasks and participation in design and project reviews.

Essential Skills:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the oil & gas, chemical, power plant, or process industries as an order engineer, design engineer, project engineer, or similar roles.

  • Hands on experience with large assembly drawings, isometric drawings, GAD, P&ID, data sheets, etc.

  • Strong experience with CAD modeling software (Creo Parametric, Inventor, and AutoCAD) and PLM tools (Windchill/SAP/Vault).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in industries related to compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, turbines, generators, gearboxes, oil & gas, machine building, or any industries involving large rotating equipment.

  • Ability to multitask and communicate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of total experience after graduation.
