Essential Skills:
Language: C, Embedded C , C++.
Platforms: Strong knowledge in Linux platform (any Linux based RTOS).
Practical (hands on) knowledge on Linux as system level knowledge.
Good understanding on open source packages in Linux
Excellent Knowledge on Yocto project as Linux distribution system.
Strong knowledge of OS concepts.
Good knowledge on whole packaging system on Linux
Working experience on version control system and bug tracking.
Good knowledge on scripting.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Exposure to agile development.
Strong documentation and writing skills.
Excellent knowledge on communication protocols like Modbus , SPI, I2C, TCP/IP.
Strong collaboration and communications skills, ability to work effectively on a geographically distributed team
Desired skills:
Domain knowledge on control systems for industrial machinaries.
Exposure to open source tools & methodologies.
Cyber security techniques for embedded systems.
Familiarity with the Atlassian toolchain (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)
Key skills/ requirements:
Linux Foundation is desired.
Proven working experience in software engineering (3 to 5 Years)
