Ingersoll Rand Documentation Engineer in Bangalore, India

Project Documentation Manager

Overall responsibility for timely submission of all project related documents according to a defined schedule.

Creational tasks:

  • Creation & Update of Document Control Index (DCI), which serves as an overview of the documents belonging to project with the dates like Submission date, receipt date, etc.

  • Creation of Project Folder structure in Document Management System, where it serves to store, manage and track the project documents.

  • Creation of Transmittals for Customer Projects for record and track

  • Creation of project specific cover sheets as per the customer requirement.

  • Creation / Care of CRS (Comment response sheets), whereas customer comments need to be addressed and taken care of.

  • Creation of documents like Procedures, Lists (utility consumption, lubrication, equipment lists etc.)

  • Correct storage of all documents / comments in Document management system (adding documents / folders / renaming etc.)

  • Compiling of the Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) / Final documentation including all test reports, certificates, etc. which encompasses every details of the Project

Coordination works:

  • Tracking of all the documents (Revision status, submittal / return dates, due dates)

  • Tracking of all customer comments

  • Clarification meetings regarding comments (internal / sub-suppliers)

  • Coordination of document updates with departments / suppliers / customers

  • Progress Meetings / reports to project management

Required skills:

  • Graduated engineer or similar

  • 2-3 years job experience

  • Experience with customer projects as team member

  • Basic project management skills

  • Very good communications skills (managing, giving directions, demanding)

  • Structured thinking, organized

  • Familiar working with digital tools (office, teams, self-organizational tools etc.)

  • Languages: English: good / very good / German: optional (nice to have)
