Job Summary ：

As a Data Engineer, you will play an important role in Trane Technologies, responsible for designing and maintaining data pipelines for various streams of data coming into our data lake to meet our Data science use cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data models, ETL processes and any of cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Extracts data from various source systems and build ETL pipeline .

• Ensure that the transformed raw data is meaningful and consumable to downstream applications.

• Design, develop and manage databases and build relationship among the objects.

• Work closely with project manager to understand and maintain focus on their analytic needs, including critical metrics and KPIs and deliver actionable insights.

• Recommend process improvements to improve infrastructure efficiency.

• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for leadership.

• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in data warehouse concepts and recommend innovative solutions to improve data efficiency and quality.

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s in computer science engineering or related field

• 5+yr of experience in Data Engineering discipline.

• Proficiency in one of the data bases like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Teradata etc.

• Very strong in Database SQL and any of ETL tools like Informatica, Data Stage, Alteryx etc.,

• Very good in data structure / Data Modelling concepts

• Good knowledge with Data Visualization tools like Tableau or similar tool.

• Good knowledge in programming languages preferably Python

• Good familiarity with any of Cloud platform preferably AWS.

• Experience using Agile methodology to perform software development.

• Knowledge of Data warehousing/Business Intelligence concepts/architecture.

• Knowledge of any distributed systems architecture
