Job Summary

The Communications Specialist role is responsible for creating and implementing internal/employee communications content and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences on EMEIA level (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa). The Specialist supports the regional Human Resources and Industrial Technologies & Services (ITS) EMEIA Leadership in translating business strategies into key messages, coordinating internal communications initiatives, coordinates and executes programs that drive engagement, align teams and shape culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develops written communication materials (eg. newsletters, announcements, presentations and other formats) to articulate key messages and initiatives, in line with the company’s brand guidelines,

  • Supports meetings and events (eg. Town Halls and small group meetings) with presentations, technology support and interactive tools to enable smooth and engaging events,

  • Partners with Human Resources and ITS business partners to support engagement and business initiatives as appropriate,

  • Contributes content for the global company intranet to include articles from the assigned business area,

  • Uses internal tools as appropriate to maximize internal communication effectiveness and ensures consistent messaging, branding, imagery and identity,

  • Assists in writing and editing impactful and engaging content promoting Business Performance, Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment, Professional Development, Human Resources and other programs in support of goals and culture,

  • Assesses performance and produces metrics reports to measure effectiveness of internal communication channels with the goal of continuously improving internal communications strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Possesses outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills in English.

  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and develop solutions that engage employees on international level.

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality results on-time and on-budget.

  • Highly motivated, priority-driven and collaborative.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with experience in Canva / Venngage / InDesign.
