Designation : Manager Machine Shop
Experience : 13 to 15 Years
Qualification : B.tech Mechanical
Location : Bahadurgarh (Haryana)
Role and Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Plan, schedule, and oversee all machining operations to ensure timely completion of production targets.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet the required specifications and standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
Resource Management:
Manage the allocation and utilization of human and material resources to maximize productivity.
Ensure the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and materials for uninterrupted production.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and mentor machine shop staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure all staff adhere to safety standards.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and extend their lifespan.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule regular servicing and address any technical issues promptly.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay updated with the latest machining technologies and industry best practices.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
Prepare and submit regular reports on shop performance, including productivity, quality, and safety metrics.
Customer Interaction:
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their specifications are met.
Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the machine shop budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Knowledge of machine:
Candidate must have the knowledge of the following machine.
Mazak Integrex I 200 & 300.
Doosan VMC
Mazak HMC 6000 and 6800 .
- Equipment and Technology:
Evaluate and select appropriate machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
Implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Communication Skills:
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers.
- Technical Expertise:
- Have a strong understanding of machining processes, equipment, and materials.
