Position Summary

CVS Health’s Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) is an organization working to solve some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare. A&BC leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, modeling, and a hypothesis-driven approach to transform data into actionable, customer-centric insights to drive growth, improve health outcomes and access to health care across all our businesses in CVS Health. Our data teams build next generation data and machine learning platforms and products in the cloud that help power CVS Health to make healthier happen for 100+ million customers.

As a Technical Product Manager within A&BC you will be responsible for leading the development of analytic powered applications for internal users. This role requires a strong understanding of product management, software development, data analytics and business strategy. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to bring data-driven products to market.

Responsibilities

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications to communicate feature requirements to Data Science, Engineering, Stakeholder teams

• Define, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization

• Work with customers, end users, and other stakeholders to continuously evolve the roadmap

• Clarify and coordinate dependencies with other product teams and stakeholders, and mitigate the risks and dependencies proactively

• Support the establishment and maintenance of release-management, product planning and launch frameworks

• Develop and execute strategies for proactive user support and issue resolution

• Demonstrate and support dissemination of best practices for product management, product development, release management and user support

• Champion Agile methodologies and lean practices in product development

· Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager with at least 3+ years of experience in data analytics platforms

· Partner closely with senior management and technical teams to define and align with stakeholders on vision, strategy, and roadmaps

· Own data analysis to inform data-driven decisions and define insights

· Demonstrated ability to communicate (oral and written), with experience in communicating technical concepts and implications to business stakeholders and customers as well as business concepts and requirement to Data Science, Engineering, and other technical teams

· Familiar with user experience design and testing methodologies

· Experience in stakeholder management

· Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

· Familiarity of Data Science concepts

· Ability to drive outcomes in complex environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful analytics product throughout its lifecycle in Enterprise B2B products context

• Deep knowledge of various types of healthcare data, including strong grasp of data nuances, common use cases, and limitations, with experience in common analytics tools

• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment and influence adoption of new thinking and find innovation opportunities

• Strong interest ​in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sector

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
