Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled senior analyst to join our Identity & Access Management (IAM) Active Directory (AD) Operations team. This role is responsible for the administration, optimization, and security of enterprise Active Directory (AD) environments. The senior analyst will play a key role in managing identity lifecycle processes, authentication security, privileged access management, and automation to ensure a secure and efficient IAM infrastructure.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Active Directory, identity governance, authentication protocols, security hardening, and automation using PowerShell. They will collaborate with IT security, cloud, and application teams to enhance IAM operation, enforce compliance, and improve user experience.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience managing and securing Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
1-2 years of expertise in Active Directory administrations, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), or LDAP
1-2 years of IAM principles, role-based access control (RBAC), Single Sign On (SSO), or multi-factor authentication (MFA)
1-2 years in PowerShell scripting to automate IAM tasks, security audits, or identity provisioning workflows
1-2 years of AD security best practices, monitoring tools, and compliance standards
1-2 years of experience in disaster recovery planning and AD backup strategies
1-2 years of experience with the below:
Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain up to date technical documentation, SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures), and knowledge base articles to support operational efficiency.
Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, including monitoring privileged access, patching vulnerabilities, and adhering to industry best practices.
Mentoring & Training: Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and IT support teams, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices for AD management
Preferred Qualifications
Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication issues, automation failures, domain trust relationships, and performance optimization
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills to work effectively across IT teams
Experience with Azure Active Directory, hybrid identity management, and cloud-based authentication solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
