Job Description

U.S. Bank’s Compensation team is hiring! We are looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join a small team supporting Wealth Management and Commercial Banking. In this role, you’ll conduct market research and review compensation surveys. Partner with other areas of HR to ensure the implementation of market competitive compensation strategies that support the line of businesses objectives. You’ll partner with HR leaders across lines of business to support compensation practices. There is ample room to grow and develop within this team.

About you:

  • Compensation experience in banking

  • Familiar with Market data information

  • Strong ability to synthesize large amounts of information

  • Able to explain complex and abstract concepts to HR and line of business leaders

  • Expert level Excel skills

Location: This position is eligible for remote work in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Two to five years of relevant experience

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Experience with Market compensation surveys (McLagen)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Consultative approach

  • Experience in compensation within a financial institution/bank

  • Expertise in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, Macros, Array formulas)

  • Skilled researcher and advanced analytical skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $64,770.00 - $76,200.00 - $83,820.00
